What Is High-Deductible Plan G?
There are two types of Medicare Supplement Plan G. There is a regular Plan G and a high-deductible Plan G.
The regular Plan G, you will be responsible for the annual Part B deductible, which is $257 in 2025.
If you choose the high-deductible Plan G, you must meet a yearly deductible of $2,870 in 2025 before the plan covers anything.
The high-deductible version of Plan G may have lower premiums than the regular Plan G, but it also comes with much higher out-of-pocket costs.
